Are you looking for a quick, on the whim crock pot recipe? I’m going to share my latest favorite crock pot meal, creamy tuscan chicken, that only takes between 3-4 hours to make!
I am all about crock pot recipes lately. With three small children and slaving the stove, the crock pot makes this mama all heart eyes in the kitchen. Plus, some of our favorite family recipes are made that way. There always seems to be plenty of leftovers, less dishes and happy tummies so as for me and my crock pot, we get along great right now!
Last night I gave it a go with a newbie in the house. I tried Creamy Tuscan Chicken and it was so easy to do! This is great for those last minute “oh, no! what should I do for dinner?!” days as it only takes between 3-4 hours to thoroughly cook.

What You’ll Need:
- Crock Pot
- 4 (or the amount needed for the family) chicken breasts
- 2 15 oz. jars of Alfredo sauce with roasted garlic
- 1-2 packs of sun dried tomatoes (not in oil)
- 1 bag or can or baby spinach
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 tsp of Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp of red pepper flakes
- 1/2 box of angel hair
How To Make It:
Place your chicken breast in the crock pot and start on low. In a medium bowl, mix together the Alfredo sauce, sun dried tomatoes, grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes. Pour and cover the chicken breasts with the mixture. Let cook on low for closer to 4 hours and toss in your spinach. Stir in crock pot. Boil angel hair noodles on the stove per box directions (typically bring water to a boil, toss in noodles and let boil for 10-12 minutes) and drain. Serve your tender Creamy Tuscan Chicken breasts over the noodles and voila!
We will be making this a good bit in the near future because it was so easy, so good and only had a little bit of a kick, so the kids loved it! If you have any questions, feel free to comment below. Also, comment below if you try this and let me know your opinions and be sure to share this post on your Facebook with your family and friends that would love this meal.
